The Delirest Repre restaurant in the Entrance Area is probably lucky to have good chefs. Just a few days ago, the current chef Martin Vencel won the Slovak round of the Culinary Cup and advanced to the Czech-Slovak round, which will be held in March in Prague.
"The assignment was ethnic cuisine, which made me very happy, because I like to cook Asian cuisine. I prepared schnitzels marinated in coconut milk with garlic and ginger, breaded in panko breadcrumbs and rice noodles with vegetables, peanut butter and coke milk," said Martin.
The recipe is traditional, Asian, but completed according to your own imagination. Martin likes this cuisine and cooks dishes from it at home. Ingredients can be combined at the discretion and choice of the cook. The dishes are colorful, the taste is varied.
He also cooked Asian dishes a few times in the Repre restaurant, but there is not always room for that, because you have to spend a lot of time preparing such dishes. There are a lot of vegetables in them and that means a lot of slicing. "In addition, these dishes are better served as minute meals, not from warm counters," says Martin.
The jury carefully watched everything at the competition. Not only the final appearance and taste of the food, but also the work of the chefs during preparation, the cleanliness of the workplace, the ingredients used and their good evaluation so that as little waste as possible is generated.
