Yesterday, everyone who came to the dining room in the Entrance Area for lunch had the opportunity to admire with their own eyes the beautiful products that come out of the skilful hands of our colleagues. We've introduced them all to you on the X App, but seeing their products with your own eyes, meeting and talking in person is something else. Colleagues, friends, strangers stopped by for a chat and coffee.
Beautiful baskets made of pedigo, a stand for desserts, a holder for spices... all this, plus the umbrella stand, with which her creative expression began, could be admired by people at the counter of Mária Borská.
Perfect and professional work. This is how colleagues usually evaluated wood products, which Iveta Danková has been working on for years. Reliefs, candlesticks, sculptures, incredibly precise geometric wood carving thrilled everyone who stopped by its counter.
All sorts of creative things. That would probably be the most apt name of the counter at which Anna Györgyfiová presented her products. Decorative angels and other decorations suitable for the tree, made from the leaves of old books, as well as the tasting of dried apples and fruit leather, attracted attention.
At the counter of Anita Flašková Hozová, it looked like in a natural pharmacy. Ointments, tinctures, teas and herbs. Anita answered many questions and advised her colleagues on how to use which product, which plant cures which ailments, when to collect them, how to dry them.
Renáta Karasová presented her ceramic products, from which bowls or "trays" for wooden spoons caught the eye. She also brought several pieces of pottery, which she repaired using the traditional Japanese kintsugi technique, which is also called gold seam repair, when broken pieces are joined together with the help of real gold or silver.
This technique also caught the attention of our colleagues from Japan. However, they stopped by the work of all their colleagues and admired their skill and creativity.
And here are all those who accepted the invitation and came to show off their products. At the beginning, at least two of them complained that they had stage fright and a tight stomach, but gradually they all relaxed and willingly and joyfully communicated with everyone who stopped by them. And we are glad that they came and willingly let everyone who stopped by into their creative world.
