After the summer break, the activities of the Women's Network (WIN) are starting to start. By the end of the year, several interesting meetings and events are prepared for all those interested.
In September, you will be able to meet again via MS Teams with Viktória Marková from the non-profit association Naruhodo, who at last year's meeting brought us closer to the perception and thinking of the Japanese not only in working life. "Almost 480 participants joined, which is a record in the history of organizing online events so far. We decided to return to this topic and in September we will learn about 6 basic concepts of how the Japanese perceive them. Topics such as harmony, hierarchy, social duty versus personal feelings, real opinion and feeling versus merciful lies, and so on, await us," says Brigita Kurucová, organizer and leader of the Women's Network.
The meeting with Igor Horváth, which took place in April and the topic was pension security, also had a great response. "We will continue with this topic in October and the meeting will also have space to answer the questions we received after the previous event," said Brigita Kurucová.
November will be dedicated to women and the period of perimenopause and menopause: "We want to open a topic that is not often talked about and yet is part of every woman. A time of open conversations, expert advice and inspiration awaits us to cope with this period with ease and self-love."
Literally the icing on the cake will be a December meeting with the well-known Slovak ethnologist Katarína Nádaska, who will guide us through the beauty of Slovak customs and traditions during Advent and Christmas: "Over a cup of hot coffee or tea, we will tune in to the festive atmosphere together and learn more about the beauty of old customs."
"I believe that our colleagues will be interested in our topics, they will sign up and take away new knowledge, practical advice and inspiration,"
added Brigita Kurucová.
We will inform you about upcoming WIN events on the X App. If you want to listen to the ones that the Women's Network/WIN has organized in the past, you can find them very easily at this intranet address: U. S. Steel Women's Network
