On October 20, 2025, the Forbes Women's Summit took place in Bratislava – a unique event that connects inspiring women from various areas of social, business and cultural life. The Women Inclusion Network (WIN) U. S. Steel Košice actively participated in this important event, with Elena Petrášková – Vice President and General Counsel speaking in the panel discussion. The event was attended by Martina Kováčová, Vice President Commercial & Customer Technical Service, Brigita Kurucová, Office Director, Dušana Takáčová, Director for Investment and Services Procurement, Mária Župčanová, GM for Credit and Banking, and Mária Fedorčáková, Head of the Corporate Law Department. Their presence underlined the importance of diversity and cooperation in promoting women's inclusion in the work environment.

Elena Petrášková, who holds a leading position at U. S. Steel Košice (USSK) and is involved in the Women Inclusion Network, was invited to a panel discussion aimed at promoting the inclusion of women in companies and organizations. As part of her speech, she emphasized the importance of diversity, an inclusive working environment and the development of talents, regardless of gender. The discussion focused on the specific challenges that women face in industries, as well as how to overcome these barriers. Elena Petrášková presented examples of good practice from the USSK environment, where WIN participates in the creation of programs supporting women's career growth, mentoring, education and creating an environment that respects diversity.

The summit featured more than 30 speakers from a variety of fields—from business and technology, to philanthropy, to culture and social issues.  Notable personalities who were speakers:

The participation of WIN and USSK in this event is proof that initiatives aimed at women's development are gaining more and more attention and recognition. The Women Inclusion Network, through Elena Petrášková and other members at the Forbes Women's Summit, clearly showed that the determination to change corporate culture and open doors to women has real results. Such events are an important impulse for further development and motivation of women throughout Slovakia. Our future is in the hands of those who are not afraid to innovate and create fair opportunities for all.
