Last week, on Friday, the first year of the senior badminton league in Košice ended, in which two members of the Autumn of Life also participated.

The seniors were provided with 8 badminton courts for training at the National Tennis Center, which they used accordingly. After four months of training, a tournament was announced, in which 8 teams participated. Two rounds were played in singles and doubles men and women and mixed doubles. Points were assigned for individual matches, which were added up after the end of the tournament.

The Autumn of Life civic association was represented by Štefan Demko and Vladimír Antol. Since they did not find women who would play badminton in the club, they "helped" themselves with two players from the KVP club, which in turn did not have male players.

The combined team of Autumn of Life + KVP took first place with a three-point lead over the DC North team. The Autumn of Life also scored in the individual categories. Štefan Demko took first place with 53.5 points, Vladimir Antol took third place.
