Registration for Volunteer Day - the event Steelmakers for Košice has been opened today. It will take place on May 23 - 24, 2025. You can register until May 15, or until the capacity in individual locations is filled. If you register, but ultimately cannot attend the event, please unsubscribe in the registration application or with the coordinator of the selected activity to free up space for other interested parties.
Each volunteer (except for the collection) will receive a T-shirt. Blood donors will be refreshed with a baguette and mineral water. During the Saturday work, refreshments in the form of a baguette, mineral water and a packed lunch will be provided for volunteers.
The work is planned for adults, but older children can also help with some of them. It is necessary to report minor children older than 12 years of age to the coordinator separately, do not register them via the registration form. Employees with children under 12 years of age can register at the ZOO, where, if there are enough children, a program will be provided for children during the parents' work shift. At other locations, the participation of younger children is not expected.
Transportation to the work shift locations is individual, but in case of greater interest (more than 10 people) we can arrange a minibus to the shelter in Haniska (please report your interest to the activity coordinator after registration).
