On the occasion of World Water Day, which we commemorated on March 22, we announced a competition. The condition for inclusion in the draw was to write an example of saving water in the household. 39 people participated.
The most common examples or tips included washing dishes in the dishwasher, showering instead of the bathtub, turning on the washing machine and dishwasher only after it was full. Others reported that they cut off the flow of water when brushing their teeth, hair and showering, as well as when washing dishes in the sink.
One of the participants waters the flowers with excess water from a quick kettle, of course, after it has cooled down, another uses water from the dryer to water the garden. Many people water the garden with rainwater, which they collect in collection containers. Another group can't afford new, high-quality and water-saving faucets, shower hoses and toilet flushes.
Today we drew three who will receive an analysis of water from their home wells.
They are: Tomáš Husár, Petra Vnenčáková and Cyril Perát.
