Yesterday we met with families from the project We Are With You at the Right Time at the Zoo Dome. Since the children obeyed all year, a large, premature, St. Nicholas package with sweets was waiting for them. Parents also received a small Christmas trinket from us. The invitation to the meeting was accepted by the wife of the acting president, Allison Revello, who wished everyone a happy and merry Christmas and all the best in the new year.
Since it was the last meeting for several families who are already finishing in the project, we had a great opportunity to reminisce about what we experienced together. We looked at photos from HC Košice matches, to which we were invited by the WIN Women's Network, a winter carnival that was part of the company's Winter Sports Games. We remembered the farewell to summer, which was full of attractions, the walk through the early evening ZOO, and our last meeting at the weekend stay at Jahodná.
Colleagues from the Zoo Eva Malešová and Laura Lukovíny told us about what this year was like for the Košice Zoo, about new additions, new breeding facilities, about the events they are preparing for the public during the upcoming holidays. They immediately invited our families to visit and gave them free tickets.
We asked the families how they evaluate their participation in the project:
We had a very pleasant time with you. We liked going to your events, we relaxed a bit, it was always very fun. Both the end of summer and a walk in the zoo, when we saw the garden differently than ordinary visitors. And financial support also helped us.
It was an opportunity for us to experience nice experiences together as a family. We also appreciate the financial assistance we have received.
Peter Veliký:
At the beginning, I was hesitant to participate in the project. For me as a man, it is easier to give than to receive. But I don't regret it. What you do, you really do from the heart. Thanks.
Jana Zlacká:
I am sorry that we have to say goodbye. It went very quickly, we don't even know how. The children were very satisfied, they especially enjoyed hockey. And we really liked the weekend at Jahodná.
We couldn't come with our Jakubek to all the meetings, but it's a nice project. Thanks.
Jaroslav Baroš:
We couldn't always come to all the events. We especially enjoyed hockey. I myself have not been to hockey for a long time, so now I enjoyed it to the fullest.
This project is great. You really do a lot for us. Financial help is also very nice. Our son Dorian enjoyed hockey, and the weekend at Jahodná. I didn't know about you and this project before. My supervisor Štefan Fiľakovský helped me, who recommended me to the project. Today I thank him for that.
