The children enjoyed a beautiful morning at Jahodná

Beautiful weather, blue sky, sun that warmed up the day and many cheerful and happy children on a small slope. Competitions, a disco with bubbles and finally a carnival. This is how one could briefly describe Saturday morning in the Jahodná resort, where not only the company's employees came to compete, but also their children or grandchildren, or whole families, found great fun there.  The program was part of the Winter Sports Games and we also invited families from the We Are With You at the Right Time project.

There were big fights on a small slope. Most of the young skiers signed up for the competition. We also had our "iron in the fire". Sofia Azari stood at the start. "Sofia learned to ski only this year, on a ski trip. I didn't expect it to catch her like this. I'm very happy," revealed dad Peter Azari. Although Sofia did not win, it was her first competition in her life, which she enjoyed very much. She then skied all morning

Many little competitors on the sled were helped by their parents, who descended the slope with them. The third competition category was bobsleigh. One of the competitors decided not to run on the bobsleigh, but to run down the hill and with the bobsleigh in her hand. Of course, it also inspired other children and who knows, maybe next year the organizers will include a downhill run with bobsleds on the list of competitions.

Other families from our project also enjoyed it on the children's slope, although non-competitively. Ivan Tarnóci came with his sister and liked to "pull" his son Jakubek on bobsleighs. "We are at Jahodná, also at the company Winter Games for the first time. We like it here very much," said Dominik Szanisló. Little Dorian  was most interested in mascots.

The mascots were a great success with all the children and the parents' mobile phones were filled with photos.

Our families also enjoyed the invitation for tea and cake at the Jahodná cottage. Peter Veliky's girls, Michael and Terezka,  boasted of a good mid-year certificate. And everyone was pleased with the visit of Vice President Elena Petrášková, who invited them on behalf of the Women's Network (WIN) to the HC Košice hockey match, which will take place at the end of February.

On a small slope, the children shortened the time of waiting for the award ceremony with a disco and catching bubbles.

Not only children but also their parents enjoyed the podium positions, which were very humorously "built" with paint on the snow.

A very pleasant morning culminated in a children's winter carnival. The creativity of the children (or rather their parents) was really admirable.
