Last week, in cooperation with the Technical University of Košice, we welcomed two groups of students of the Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling. During the plant tour, students of the second and third year of the bachelor study were interested not only in the metallurgical process itself, but also in the issues of recycling and the use of by-products in the production of iron and steel.

Students got acquainted with the process of steel production, hot and cold rolling as well as value-added lines for the production of dynamo sheets for the electrotechnical industry, galvanized and laccoplastic sheets especially for the automotive and construction industries.
