Our company was honored with the prestigious SAP Quality Award 2025 for the first phase of our ERP transformation project, recognized for its innovation, efficiency, and positive impact on business processes. SAP evaluated dozens of projects implemented in the largest European region – Central and Eastern Europe, specifically in the Business Transformations: Enterprise Solutions category. Moreover, USSK achieved the Grand Winner award among the other category winners.

Representatives from SAP presented the award: Alexander Meixner, Chief Business Officer Central Cluster, and Roman Varsányi, Account Director. The ceremony was attended not only by the entire USSK management but also by the representative of the implementation partner EY, Peter Málik. The award was accepted on behalf of USSK by Mike Piekut and Eduard Grečner. In speeches, everyone agreed that the key differentiator from other projects was the level of active involvement of the company's top management and the fact that this success was not the result of a single person or one team, but of an entire community of experts, leaders, and supporters who joined forces across departments and were an integral part of this journey.

The support of our implementation partner EY, who brought expertise and methodology, was another key to success. Given the size and complexity of the project and the wide portfolio of SAP products implemented, it was crucial to strictly adhere to guiding principles, such as a clearly defined and fixed scope and a zero-customization approach, while building on SAP best practices and process-driven change management. Thanks to this, we secured strong prerequisites for successful project delivery on time and within budget,” concluded Eduard Grečner.
