Last Tuesday, May 28, we had a strong presence at the third year of the prestigious conference Region of the Future, Future of the Region. As supporters of this conference and a member of the Košice IT Valley cluster, we have been at the forefront of discussions that shape the future of the industry.

The conference focused on "Technology Trends of 2024" and provided a platform for experts and enthusiasts to discuss the latest trends and their impacts on our region.

Ľubo Račko participated in a panel discussion on new technologies in industry, which was moderated by Juraj Sabol. The transformative power of digitalisation and its role in driving efficiency, sustainability and growth in our industry, but also in the automotive and healthcare sectors, were discussed, as Lub's co-discussants were representatives of Volvo and Siemens Healthineers.

The insights shared by Ľubo highlight that data analytics and machine learning are not just buzzwords, but are key tools in optimizing our production processes and product quality. The discussants also addressed the implication of automation on talent and the importance of employee development so that they can also be applied in the era of AI.
