Get inspired by the stories of Ľubomír Mitrik and Marek Varga, who were awarded the title of Service Champion by the U. S. Steel Corporation for their selfless public service. Join the community of people who can change the world for the better, even for one day. For example, on May 23 or 24, when we organize the event Steelmakers for Košice.

The 19th edition of the event will start on Friday, May 23, with the traditional Steelmakers' Drop of Blood and a collection of clothes and useful things for charity.

On Saturday, May 24, we will help six organizations with our work:

Botanical Garden Košice, Center for Children and Families on Hurbanová Street, Children's Historical Railway, Shelter for Abandoned Animals near Haniska, Košice ZOO, Forrest Gump Club in Košice.

This year we will also help the non-profit organization Klub Foresta Gumpa in Košice, which operates a day care center for people with disabilities. Registration will not be open for this location, as it will be fully covered by our union members.

The Košice Zoo is currently closed due to extraordinary preventive veterinary measures, but we believe that it will reopen its doors by May 24th.

We will introduce individual activities and locations to you in the coming days.

Registering for the Volunteer Day will be open in mid-April.
