The Košice fairytale markets once again showed the power of human generosity and belonging. The Archdiocesan Caritas of Košice had the opportunity to present its activities and handmade products at the charity stand of U. S. Steel Košice. During ten unforgettable days, from December 1 to 10, 2024, it collected a wonderful 3,539.85 euros, which will be used to support clients in its facilities.

At the Christmas markets, the charity presented unique handmade products that were created under the hands and hearts of service recipients. Each product carries a story of courage, hope and desire for a better life. Visitors showed great support for this charitable activity with their interest and contributions.

"Every day at the markets had its own story. Volunteers and caritas workers from all over the region created a place full of humanity, joy and inspiration from the stand," said Silvia Hrabčáková from the Archdiocesan Caritas Košice. "They brought visitors not only the products of our clients, but also pieces of their stories, determination and creativity. In every smile and stopping, we find proof that goodness and willingness to help are all around us."
