In just a few days, on June 19, the 32nd International Film Festival IFF Art Film will begin in Košice.
Since 1995, the festival has been awarding actors for their extraordinary contribution to the field of film acting with the Actor's Mission Award. Last year, this award was won by Milan Ondrík and Czech actress Daniela Kolářová.
Who did we draw?
Two three-day cinepasses are awarded to: Rút Jadrná and Petra Vnenčáková.
We are sending two festival-wide cinepasses each: to Ladislav Rosič and Jana Nováková.
The festival also brings a rich accompanying program
Every year, the Art Film International Film Festival begins with an opening ceremony.
However, the festival traditionally also brings a rich accompanying program, which will offer the audience several events complementing film screenings. These will include the talk show Bez šepkára with Milan Kolcun, a special edition of Dinner with Raven with Richard Müller, the glossary show SEVEN with Elena Vacvalová and Marián Leška, club nights in Tabačka, the dance party Vychodisco in her yard and more. The accompanying program for the public will take place mainly in Kulturpark, Tabačka Kulturfabrik and Kunsthalle in Košice.
The culmination of the festival will be the closing ceremony at the Kunsthalle, during which four international juries will present the prestigious Blue Angel awards for best film, director, female and male actor, short film, film from Central and Eastern Europe and audience film JOJ Cinema. The ceremony also includes the FIPRESCI Award, awarded by the jury of the International Federation of Film Critics, and the exceptional Golden Camera (for outstanding contribution to the art of film) and the Actor's Mission (for recognized actors).
