You obviously liked the summer quiz and you probably not only had fun looking for the right answers, but maybe even sweated a little and learned. A record 609 people participated, which is the highest turno ut in recent years, which also overtook the pre-Christmas survey we did for Tauris.
541 people answered all five questions correctly, 53 made a mistake in one answer and five did not guess the answers to two questions.
What were the correct answers?
- A person can get sunburned even if the sky is cloudy. Clouds transmit up to 80% of ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which we cannot see or feel on the body.
- When choosing sunglasses, neither the color of the lenses nor the brand is decisive, but whether and what kind of UV filter they have.
- On hot days, fluids need to be replenished throughout the day.
- In summer, we should avoid heavy and fatty foods, preferring light and refreshing ones.
- In summer, we should give preference to light colors of clothing, as they reflect the sun's rays.
